MSRC RMPIF - Caroline County Building Footprints

The building footprints were created using the address points from the County and the 2019 imagery. Each address point outside a municipality has a building footprint, however, we also identified many buildings that did not have an address point. There are also a number of locations that have an address point but do not have a building.

Some parcels have more than one addressed building. To address this, the building footprints include a TYPE field which is calculated to PRIMARY or SECONDARY. PRIMARY indicates the building is the main building or residence in the parcel. SECONDARY indicated the building in not the main building or residence but there is an address point for the location.
